Michigan Headquarters: Site Selected, Construction Timeline Confirmed
Schubert Motors USA has confirmed a site in Southeast Michigan for its North American headquarters and initial production facility. Ground is expected to break in Q3 2026, with initial production capacity of 200 vehicles per year.
After an 18-month site evaluation process across Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee, Schubert Motors USA has selected a 48-acre parcel in Southeast Michigan as the location for its North American headquarters and first production facility. The site's proximity to the tier-1 supplier network concentrated around Detroit, combined with available workforce talent, made it the clear choice for our program.
The facility will house final assembly, the Atelier customization studio, engineering offices, a driver training center, and a private delivery bay where each customer takes personal possession of their vehicle. Initial production capacity is targeted at 200 vehicles per year — intentionally limited to preserve quality at every stage. The 327S line will reach volume first, followed by the Meridian GT and Noctis Primo. Cyclotis production will occupy a dedicated clean-room assembly cell.
Ground is expected to break in Q3 2026, with facility completion targeted for Q1 2028. First deliveries from the Michigan facility are planned to coincide with the facility opening. Until then, pre-production prototypes and initial Noctis Primo units will be built under controlled conditions at a contracted facility. Full details including the facility address will be released at the Q3 2026 groundbreaking event.
