Evo Schubert founded Schubert Motors USA on the belief that American engineering — when properly funded and freed from institutional inertia — can match and surpass the finest European manufacturers.
He’s not an executive who hired his way in — he’s a mechanic. Twenty-plus years fixing what the big manufacturers got wrong, with the designs stacking up the whole time: hybrid systems sketched in high school, axial-flux motors in CAD by 2009, and a fourteen-nameplate concept fleet since. Every vehicle in the lineup traces back to his own drawings — no borrowed platforms.
No inherited factory. No team handed to him. No shortcut. Just decades under the hood, a refusal to accept second place, and a company being built one honest step at a time — with the first running prototype targeted for 2027.
