STRAIGHT ANSWERS.
No PR spin. No legal hedging beyond what is actually required. If we don’t know something yet, we say so — and mark it PLACEHOLDER.
Preorders & Ordering
How do I place a preorder?
Visit the Preorder page and select your model. A refundable deposit secures your place in the build queue. Your position in the queue is locked at the date and time your deposit is received. PLACEHOLDER: Stripe checkout wiring is pending — the deposit flow will be live before public launch.
Is my deposit refundable?
Yes. Your deposit is fully refundable at any point before your final purchase agreement is signed. No fees, no questions asked. We do not hold your money hostage.
Can I change my model or specification after placing a preorder?
Yes, until your build slot is formally assigned and the purchase agreement is signed. After that point, major specification changes are evaluated case by case. Minor changes — color, interior trim — are typically accommodated up to the start of your build.
When will my vehicle be delivered?
First deliveries are targeted for 2027. Your specific delivery window depends on your queue position and the model ordered. We will communicate your estimated window at least 12 months in advance and update you at every milestone. PLACEHOLDER: delivery schedule is subject to build program progress.
How many vehicles will be produced?
Production numbers vary by model. The Cyclotis hypercar is strictly limited. The Meridian GT and 327S have higher allocations but remain low-volume by any industry standard. Exact production caps will be published on each model's page before orders open at full price. PLACEHOLDER: caps under final review.
Delivery & Service
How does delivery work?
Every vehicle is delivered directly by Schubert Motors USA — no dealers, no third-party middlemen. You travel to our Michigan facility for a factory tour, personalization review, and formal handover ceremony. If you cannot drive home, we arrange enclosed transport by a vetted carrier. See the Delivery page for the full step-by-step.
Do you have dealers?
No. Schubert Motors USA will never sell through a franchise dealer network. The direct-to-owner model is permanent, not a launch-phase experiment. Your price is the published price — there is no markup possible.
Where can my vehicle be serviced?
Michigan HQ is the confirmed primary service location and handles all work including warranty, modifications, and track preparation. Regional service partners are in qualification for the Northeast, Southeast, and West Coast. All partner locations will be confirmed before first deliveries. PLACEHOLDER: regional locations TBD.
What does the warranty cover?
Powertrain: 5 years / 60,000 miles. Structural/Chassis: lifetime (original owner). Composite body: 3 years, unlimited miles for material defects. Electrical and software: 3 years / 36,000 miles with OTA updates included. Track-use warranty provisions are under legal review and will be confirmed before purchase agreements are finalized. See the Delivery page for the full warranty table.
Technology & Engineering
What is Axial Flux hybrid technology?
Axial Flux motors orient their magnetic flux parallel to the rotation axis — the opposite of a conventional radial motor. This geometry delivers significantly higher power density (more power per kilogram) and better torque response at all RPM. Schubert Motors develops its Axial Flux system in-house rather than sourcing from a third party. The result is a powertrain calibrated specifically for our vehicle dynamics targets rather than adapted from a general-purpose motor.
What is the output of the Cyclotis powertrain?
The Cyclotis hypercar is rated at 2,000 HP from its Axial Flux hybrid system combining combustion and electric drive. Torque figures and final calibration specs will be published when the prototype completes validation. PLACEHOLDER: official figures subject to engineering sign-off.
Are the vehicles fully electric?
No. Our flagship models use a hybrid powertrain — high-output combustion combined with Axial Flux electric motors. We do not build pure EVs at this stage. The hybrid configuration was chosen to deliver the specific power, range, and driving character we require, not for regulatory compliance or trend-following.
Where are vehicles built?
Hand-assembled in Michigan, USA. The build facility is in the Detroit metro area. Every car is touched by our own technicians — not a contract manufacturer or assembly partner.
Can I see the build process?
Yes. The entire development and build process is documented in the Schubert Motors public build series. Every major milestone, technical challenge, and engineering decision is on camera. We do not curate out the failures.
