The car is judged in motion, never in a viewport
A body can look resolved from a fixed three-quarter angle and fall apart the moment it moves. So nothing is signed off in a modelling window. It goes into the simulator, gets driven, and is judged there — at speed, in changing light, from the seat. The render comes after the verdict, not before it.
What it costs
It is far slower. A change that takes ten minutes to model takes an hour to judge properly.
